When my daughter was 5, she loved to tinker with out computer. That curiosity was spurred by both of her parents. My husband and I love to use the computer for everything, browsing, searching the internet, posting blogs, chatting, researching, you name it. She picked that from us. So, I bought her the Shelley Clud and Pet Parade Double Pack PC CD for her to play with using the other computer at home.The double CD pack is full of fun and entertainment for girls her age. The graphics are really great. I enjoyed playing with my daughter especially the one where we had created beautiful flowery plants by combining magical seeds.
Let me just break down the various activities and features present on each CD game.
Shelley Club
Cake decorating
Decorate the table and choose the china and yummy pastries for the mini party
Create yummy treats
Plant magical seeds in the greenhouse and be amazed on the different plants sprouting from the combination of the magical seeds
Catch falling stars to decorate the unicorn. You can dress up the unicorn too!
Pet Parade
Teach the cuddly animal friends of Shelley and her friends some nice tricks
Groom and bathe all the pets
Dress Shelley and her friends in special parade costumes
Bring the parade to life as the crown cheers for you and the Shelley Club pets
Design each float for the parade
These PC games provide endless hours of open-ended fantasy and creative game play and encourages social play and artistic expression.
The PC Cd games are great for kids ages 3+. System requirements are Windows 98/2000/ME/XP. I am not sure if this will work in Vista as I have not tried installing the game using the Vista OS.

Sounds some quality games out there. PC CD games. Though I am not a kid, yet I play some games and the ones you had mentioned here won't be nice for me. Well reviewed.
