Peat Pellet Greenhouse 36
By Mary60 on - Updated Sep 18, 2011The Peat Pellet greenhouse is a kit for starting seeds and cuttings indoor. They come in sizes 36 and 72. The kit includes the36 premium Fertl-gro peat pellets,a watertight resuable tray clear greenhouse dome. The pellets expand when watered and form both pot and soil. These pellets have longer fibers for healthier plants. The pellets are circular with a hole for the seeds. You can start flowers or vegetables, andthen transplantthe pellet and all into your garden. The greenhouse keeps the plants warm and protects the growing plant. Thesealso can teach children how to grow plants while they watch them grow. I like these pellets and the idea of no messy potting soil to clean. Watching your plants grow give you that summer feeling.Great product
Update On May 05, 2010: The seeds are planted and the flowers are growing. Soon they will be ready to plant in the garden. These work so good for early plantings..

Sounds like a good way to get the kids involved!
I love the price and the concept. First it gets seeds off in a controlled environment, which almost guarantees a healthy start. Then you take the whole seedling, soil. plant and all and place into its outdoor home. What could be easier!
Great price. And want a good idea for teaching kids about growing plants. I think my son's teacher used something similar last year in his 2nd grade class.
Wow! I am going to have to agree with the others who have left comments here for you, that the Peat Pellet greenhouse is sold at a great price! You are also right on that the ease of your description of the use of the product would make this a great project for a child. How cool would it be for s/he to plant and grow his/her own favorite veggies and flowers?
This product sounds great and at a great price, Thanks have fun and smell those flowers lol barb
Now this is something I could really go for! The price is unbeatable too. Thanks for the information.
Now this sounds like something I could handle. Thanks for the information on this product.
I love being able to watch plants grow, this sounds like a neat little product. And I agree, when you are stuck living someplace with snow seeing some greenery definitely gets you looking forward to spring and summer! :o)
I love this idea! I wonder if I could even do this-I have no green thumbs whatsoever!!!! It really does put you in the springtime/summertime mood watching things sprout, doesn't it?!
I've never thought about it before! Thanks!
