This is a peavey raptor guitar, It is a great starter guitar. It comes in several different colors. It has five pick ups, and a whammy bar. It was purchased for my husband as his first gutair and he has learned alot on it and got alot of use out of it. It is lightweight and can be taken with you anywhere. the neck is made out of maple wood and has a rose wood fret board, has 21 frets, Only one tone changer though..two would have better sound quality. Pick gaurd is just okay but you can purchase different pick gaurds if so desired. This gutair does not stay in tune very well. My husband has to constantly retune it. It comes with a standard guitar strap, you may purchase other straps if desired. YOu can purchase a gig bag for this guitar pretty cheap. Overall a great starters guitar!!

Though I like listening to musics but have no knowledge about musical instrument like guitar and keyboards etc.This looks like good enough to be presented to your loved ones .
A starter is the best way to go,until the real interest comes in.
