I had bought the Ped Egg at Bed Bath & Beyond for $20.00 for one ped egg. At the time, I thought I had a good deal. It wasn't until later on that I realized that I could have received a better deal online on the Ped Egg's official website. Currently, the Ped Egg on it's official website it retails for $16.99 which includes the original Ped Egg and two buffering pads. You definitely need to reorder more buffering pads in the future, if you plan on buffering your heels a lot. They tend to get worn out easily. When you take the Ped Egg apart after using the Ped Egg, you will see all the dead skin you have accumulated. Its disgusting to look at. All the dirt apppears to be very fine, due to the semi- sharp micro files that are on the bottom of the ped egg. Although, it looks sharp the Ped Egg is actually safe to the touch as stated on the website. On the website, you have an option of paying $6.99 for your order to include lotion. But, really what seems to be so special about the lotion that Ped Egg is trying to convince you to purchase. It's just look like any other lotion. So, just use your own lotion instead to save you some money. Make sure to only use the Ped Egg on rough, calloused heels or you don't want your skin to start bleeding. Trust me, if it happened to me once, it can definitely happen to anyone. If you think $16.99 is still expensive to buy one ped egg, I'm pretty sure somewhere out there you can buy yourself two ped eggs for the price of one.
