Peggle, Gambling Without The Point By Dustin Gunn on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
Answering the I'm sure countless requests for someone to mix Plinko with pinball and breakout, Big Fish games takes on the task and comes out with Peggle. The idea is so simplified that the user input comes down to a single mouse click at any point in the game, which will then set into motion a chain reaction of bright flashing colors and increasingly large score markers.
Peggle is a casual game, which, if I may wing a definition, basically means it requires absolutely no skill or dedication, and is merely designed to provide constant visual feedback in a pleasing array of colors and sounds as you rack up gigantic scores. Basically, the game makes you feel like you're awesome at it, although in reality all you can do is pick your specific powerup and pray to the gods of chaos that the steel ball will bounce in directions you want it to bounce to.
Finishing a level in Peggle cranks "Ode to Joy" up to 11 and sets off fireworks and is all around impressive enough even to keep you coming back for more, and if indeed you do want more the game provides you with enough challenges and levels to allow you to play until you're ready to stop on your own accord.

I've never seen this one. Thanks for the summary.
I've never tried this game but it sounds like fun, thanks for the info.
I bet children would love this simple game. The visual and audio rewards seem perfect for our reward hungry young ones.
I loved Peggle when I played it during a trial version. Great way to waste time! LOL
I have played Plinko and it does take some skill in deciding where to put the ball... I have watched Japanese play the game and yea, it is hard. Peggle is not as hard, but you really have to understand your angles to get good scores. ;-)
