Pella Windows By Snukomes on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

When we purchased our house it already had Pella windows in it, but they were over 30 years old, so we decided to put all new Pella windows in. We even purchased a huge bay window for our front room, and a sliding glass Pella door for our patio. The outside trim around the windows is white aluminum, and the inside trim is wood. We did have to stain the trim around the windows and stain them as well. This took us a long time. The windows are very nice and very energy efficient. We are pleased that they are so tight and let in very little cool air. The bad thing about them is they collect moisture on them and it causes water to form on the ledges that we have to constantly wipe up in the winter time or they collect mold.

Ok your issue is most likely caused by improper sealing. If you have a warranty still in effect, call them and have them reseal these correctly. Pella rarely if ever causes this type of moisture issues.
