Pennzoil Motor Oil Really Is Advanced Protection By Demon_Buttercup on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I really don't know much about car maintenence just that you need to check the fluids, etc, and my husband usually does all that. What I do know is that it seems I am always the one going out to buy the said needed fluids - I just get what hubby tells me too.

One of the things that has never changed over the years is the brand of motor oil he insists on buying, Pennzoil. I didn't really think there was a big difference in oil - but apprently there is. My husband insists if Pennzoil made transmission fluid I wouldn't keep frying out trannies in cars (hehehe). He's right, I have never burned out an engine.

Hubby insists this is due to the Pennzoil brand and it's special additive called PureBase which gives time released protection and lubrication to the engine. It is especially good for vehicles driven in stop and go traffic - which means it's good for us, as it seems there is always a traffic jam here on the roads of St Paul.

So, Pennzoil....get to work on that transmission fluid - I'd love to have a transmission as strong as my engine!!
