People magazine must have been desperate for a story when putting Bristol Palin on the front and doing a full story with pics for the June 1,2009 issue. This is just one of many odd stories written for the magazine. The magazine states in the article : Breast-feeding before class,staying in on prom night---she talks about the highs and lows of her new "24 hour a day job." I just can't relate why this magazine would print an article on this girl. Back in the day, someone like this would be a disgrace not a star. No wonder so many teenagers are trying to get pregnant to be cool...the in thing. The front cover of the magazine has Palin in a cap and gown holding her baby. So...now she is an advocate for the prevention of teen pregnancy. Yes this will make her look good in light of "not being good", not to mention help mommy in her bid for President in the future. I just was really surprised that People turned this into a beautiful cover story...not. I always felt her mother projected herself as "having it so together and above anyone else".When in part, she is no better than the next guy. I know some will say "At least she graduated" or "It shows she is taking responsibility" but I just feel it's a front for political gain...being an advocate now. There is an article about a soldier who came home dealing with the ravages to his body from a bomb. I think he definitely should have been on the front ! Palin go away! People go away! Oh yeah, I didn't buy the magazine to read about her, I bought it to read about someone else.
