Pepcid Complete Dual Action - Cool Mint
By DealHippo onPepcid Complete promises to be an acid reducer plus antacid in one pill, so it's like taking a regular Pepcid and a Tums in one dose.I was excited to give this new product a try because I get heartburn fairly often from eating spicy foods.The last time I ate buffalo wings, I took one of these Pepcids as soon as I got heartburn.The directions say to chew up the tablet, so I did.It tasted like minty chalk.The taste wasn't unbearable but it wasn't pleasant either.After chewing and swallowing the tablet, my heartburn was relieved within 5 minutes, and did not come back.The Pepcid worked great, but my only concern is with the cost.In my opinion, it did not work any faster than Tums, but it did do a good job at keeping the heartburn from coming back, unlike Tums when sometimes I need to keep taking them.Overall, I would recommend Pepcid Complete for severe heartburn, but for mild to moderate heartburn I would save my money and stick with a cheap antacid like Tums.
