Perfect First Shoes For Little Boys By traceyb22 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
We bought the Stride Rite Sprouts, when my son started walking and needed some "real" shoes. I have been so happy with them. First of all, they are really cute. The are tan suede with navy stripes and laces. The neutral colors and style go with anything. He wears thems with shorts and jeans and even nicer pants when we want to dress him up a little.
Second they seem to be really comfortable for him. He never complains about them and when we let him choose his shoes, he almost always picks these. Stride Rite are great for toddlers with chubby feet, because they are nice and wide. We've tried other brands that were really tight across the top, but we don't have that problem with the Stride Rites.
I've also been really impressed with how well they've held up. We've had them for 7 or 8 months and he's worn them almost daily. They still look really good. The tan color is great for hiding dirt. If you are looking for a casual shoe that your toddler will be comfortable in and get lots of wear out of, these are the ones. We love them!

Cute pictue:0) Stride Rites are great aren't they!
I remember Stride Rite shoes! I think those were the first real shoes for my son when he was little. These are so cute and I love the color! The fact that you let him pick out his own shoes and he chooses this pair...what else needs to be said? Awesome :)
I will definately check these out next time I'm at JCP - I had no idea they were sold there! Also good to know that they're holding up well after 7 months of use, that says a LOT about a pair of shoes!
These look like a really cute pair of shoes!! :o) I love the color and I agree they do probably match with everything and don't show dirtiness as much as a pair of white shoes would. I have heard many good things about Stride Rite and this is just another to add!
These little shoes are just adorable! You know when you purchase a pair of Stride Rite shoes, you are getting a quality product, that will last.
