Perfect Primitive Lamp

I have wanted this lamp for quite some time now because it fits in so perfectly with my primitive decor. I did not order it because it was a little pricey and I just did not really need another lamp.I showed my aunt the lamp because she is also very much into the primitive decor.
The same aunt I showed the picture of the lamp to, asked my husband to do some work for her around her home. My husband did the work but refused to accept any type of payment from my aunt.She was insistent about paying him something but he did not feel right taking her money.
Fast forward one month.I received a package in the mail one day from The Country House catalogue.I knew that I had not ordered anything from there around that time period.I opened the box and there sat this lamp.I asked my husband if he ordered it for me and he said no.The only other person I had shown the lamp was my aunt.I called her and immediatley thanked her!
This lamp is just so primitive and would look great if you have an Americana theme in your home.It measures over 2 feet tall.The lamp shade is a navy paper shade with stenciled stars on it.I really love this great quality lamp.
