While shopping one day we came across this novelty photo studio called Magenta Studio Photo in Vaughn Mills Mall (that HUGE outlet mall north on the 400 near Canada's Wonderland). They are a hip new photo studio and they can take all sorts of novelty pictures like kid as angel, butterflies, drummer, in bowls of flowers, with sunflowers, etc. I spent over an hour looking at their portfolio!
After looking at their portfolio I decided to get some shots of infant son taken at a later date. When we returned to Magenta for our appointment everything was ready. They gave me a few moments to decide on what poses I wanted my son taken in and I decided on the Angel, butterfly and sunflower.
I dressed him in each costume and laid him on his back on their canvass. The photographer stood over him and took the shots. My little guy is such a happy baby that she had no problems getting him to smile! The photographer and staff knew how to deal with babies and the shoot was over before I knew it. She took over 25 shots and you get to pick the poses right from their computer. Photos take about 2-3 weeks to arrive and they give you a call to pick them up.
They also have packages and special promotions – like for spring they have group Easter pictures with live bunnies! I'm going to carry all 3 of kids to get their Easter pictures taken together. They also do birthday parties (you can bring outfits to change in to, like a real photo shoot) and each invitee gets a free 5x7. How cute! My sister did one of these with the angel wings for her son. I love the butterfly too :)
Be careful of Magenta photography. We went today and they nickle and dime you on everything. You don't even get sepia or black and white for free...it's an additional $10, per photo! We even escalated this to the assistant manager and she said: "well, that's our policy". The photos were just ok... the photographers are very inexperienced.

you want to know what is magenta ?? it's : Sales Pressure !!! ask them to do your viewing another day, tell them that you have to pick up your child from daycare... juste ask and see !!!
