Perfectly Plain Jeans By cookiecrisp03 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I am a regular guy. I am married with two kids. And fashion is NOT my strength, nor a priority. I have 2 standards for the things I wear. One, that they fit and two, that they last. I wear a shirt and tie to work all week, so I look forward to wearing comfortable jeans on the weekends. My wife bought me a couple of expensive name brand jeans to wear, and I won't wear them. They are dark, tight up top and flared on the bottom. They are a crime to fashion for a guy like me. When I grow 5 inches in height, drop 20 lbs and loose 15 years on my age, then maybe I would consider them.
After watching $150 worth of designer jeans sitting in my closet, my wife finally conceded and bought me a 'normal' pair of jeans. Gap Standard Fit, Medium wash jeans. These things are the best. They fit like good old fashioned jeans should. They have a normal color, they stay up around my waist and they are not too loose or too tight anywhere. And I am happy to report that they only cost a fraction of the others at $44.50. I have worn and washed these many times and they still look and feel great. Gap Standard Fit jeans are the perfect jeans for regular guys like me.
