perscription transfer rebate cards
By BillF onI have transfered perscritons between local pharmacies for free gift cards I have done this from Kmart, Giant, Rite Aid, and lately safeway. After insurance card I have had perscriptions that I paid $ 10 for and recieved a gift card of $30 for my groceries in return, So I am being paid $20 in groceries to get a refill of a perscription I need filled anyway. There are similar offers from other pharmacies but this is the best deal I have found. What is strange is you can transfer a perscription and get a gift card then the month after transfer it back and get another gift card.This is cannot lose deal if you have lots of local pharmacies and just look for their coupons or promotions when a grocery store you can use the gift card for items on sale and with coupons also and just expand the savings tremendously with a little preplanning. Like at Safeway I got a number of items at about half the regular low price. The only limitation seems to be the number of offers available and some of my perscription co pays are $20 or $35 so depending on the offer I may not be getting paid for buying a persription co pay.
This is a good idea however you have to be careful with electronic medical records and the changes with the DEA they may think you are Drug Store hopping. I only know this because I work in the field and everyone is on their toes these days becase the fines are very hhavey and the provider can go to jail or pharmasist and loose their licensse. Doing this is a great way to save however you want to make sure you are not doing it too often. You as well can get introuble to. Just wnated to let you know how strick the medical field is getting and from the sounds of it things may get really bad once the bill goes into effect.
