Personal Fan

Reviewing: Duracraft Personal Fan
Purchased at: Wal Mart     Price: $8.88 USD

My husband wanted a little personal fan for his office, so I found this one at Wal-Mart. It was not very small but seemed to fit the purpose he wanted it for. It's 8x6x10 in size and does put out a nice breeze of air flow.

The whole fan is made of plastic and only has two settings - High and Low, plus Off. It would have been nice to have a Medium setting but I guess I can't be too picky for the price.

I'd say that over the past year, this fan served it's purpose, but he no longer needed it at work and brought it home. It sat stored away for a few months and then he wanted to start using it in one of our bathrooms to help vent the room after a shower. He hates having a foggy mirror after showering and the vent already installed in the ceiling does a minimal job, plus this little fan can be directed right at the mirror and de-fogs it very fast. He likes to leave it plugged in and running all day, but the motor in this fan does fail to work at times and I don't want to burn it out. But since it's a personal fan and obviously meant to be turned on and used, we do leave it on for hours at a time.

My mother has one like this that she uses in her kitchen and it does help with air flow when she opens the windows. It really can be used anywhere, whether it be an office or for home use.

For under $10, I'd recommend this little fan. But remember it's not very small, so you need to make sure you have room for it.
