Reviewing: Down To Earth Finance My Money Matters
Purchased at: Online     Price: $24.95 USD

One of the hardest things to figure out after college was my personal financial plan.Sure, my college had requested for students to take a full semester of personal finance classes but nothing really prepares a new graduate for what is to come when the bills start to pour in the mailbox.Fortunately I was able to figure things out on my own, since moved to Japan and had to figure things out to survive. For my husband, this survival training tactic did not work on him, since he stayed in the states. Finally, after struggling to get him to understand things fully, I have found a kit to assist him and myself in our financial success.

The financial kit is called My Money Kit.Some of you might have heard of it from the Newsweek magazine on March 10, 2008.Just as the Newsweek magazine suggests, My Money Kit is a wonderful resource for getting all money matters under control. It is not only for those in debt, my husband and I learned about saving from the simple, cute tutorials and worksheets provided in the kit.

For just $24.95, you can purchase this kit online at the online store. This kit comes in a box (similar to a software box).It contains 6 interactive work booklets that you can immediately use to start working on your own financial success.Basically, the work booklets help you get all your money in order and help you understand where all your money is going and where it should be going. There are 26 cards with inspiring mantras on the front and tips on the back.Although a little dorky, these cards are helpful as a reminder to keep strong when trying to keep on a budget. As an added bonus there is also an easel to display your cards. The box also contains a journal and brochure that explains the entire kit and how to follow along with the directions.

Although I was pretty efficient with money mastery, this kit was very helpful in getting a better image of where my husband and I stood financially. In addition, it was a great help to work with my husband on this kit to assist him in seeing just where everything goes and how we were doing with saving for the future. It is a kit that anyone can benefit from no matter what level you are on.

I've never heard of this, thank you for education me on it. I like anything with little cards and things for reminders, I need all the help I can get. Living in Japan must have been fascinating as well as crazy. Everthing is so fast paced there, I don't think I would have survived like you did.

Oh how I need this. My husband is horrible at remembering where money went. This would be very helpful! I also agree with the comment above. This would be a great gift for a graduate. I graduated from college in 06 and was completely lost when it came to finances. I am slowly learning but I would have loved to have had this product to show me earlier.

At first I was thinking this may be a good gift for my niece and step daughter who are both 20. Now that I looked at it, I think I want it too! My husband is always asking me where the money goes...like right after I spent $50 on meds, took the kids to the doctor because they were sick and picked up $100 in groceries...LOL.

This would make a perfect graduation gift for a college student. I think it would benefit newly married couples too. What an important product. I wish I had heard of it earlier to give to my children!
