Peter Pan is the timeless story that most children are used to. While the classic Peter Pan movie is usually an animated one, this live action version certainly delivers. It takes the viewer into a fantasy land full of lost boys, fairies, and pirates and has all the usual characters such as Peter Pan, Wendy, Captain Hook, and Tinkerbell. I found this to be a very enjoyable adaptation of the classic tale. It does not deviate much from the standard plot line, which is something I really liked, and included live action versions of all the fun scenes, such as Peter chasing his shadow. The kids do a good job acting, especially the one playing Peter. One of my favorite things about it is the sets. They are magnificently done and the foliage in Never Never Land is lush and green as it should be. I think this movie is a feast for the eyes and mind, and sort of updates the classic fairy tale to be more enjoyable to both adults and children. The movie is very safe for kids and is just a fun family favorite. I recommend this live action version of Peter Pan and think it can be suitable for all ages.
