PetSmart Loofa Dog, a Dog toy for Cats?

First I know this is a dog toy, but I brought this PetSmart Loofa dog for my cat. He loves this toy and it is truly one of his favorite. I swear he is half dog.
He will carry it in his mouth and then throw it down and pounce on it. I have even caught him sleeping next to it after playing with it.
The toy itself isn't the best durability wise. I would suspect if your dog (or cat for that matter) chews on their toys often, this might not last ever long. The good thing these are fairly cheap for a pet toy so it is easy to replace.
They come in a few different sizes. I mostly get my cat the medium to small size. I have seen some extra large size ones and I thought about getting him those just to see if he would like it, but I don't think he would be able to pick it up or even walk with the thing in his mouth.
If you ever go to PetSmart I recommend picking one of these Loofa dogs for your dog, or if you have a weird cat like me, pick one up for your cat.
Cute idea. My Jack Russel would probably love this to death! She has a ratty old tennis ball in the shape of a long tube right now that really needs replacing but she still loves the ugly thing. I'll have to look into one of these for her as a replacement for at least a while. Thanks for the info
These toys are adorable! I think they would be ok for both dogs and cats.
I love these! They come in so many different colors and holiday themes throughout the year, and all pets seem to love them. I found a cat-sized loofa that made a crinkling sound and was filled with catnip. My cats love it!
