I received this Pfaltzgraff Winterberry Cheese Tray with Slicer as a gift. I actually get a lot of gifts like this because I'm the chief cook, planner, and bottle washer when it comes to parties. I suppose my guests want to be served on a variety of serving dishes as I've got quite a collection.

This Winterberry set has quickly become one of my favorite pieces. The serving tray is heavy. It's about 8 and 1/2 inches in diameter, so it's large enough for a nice cheese ball or even a small desert.

The slicer is designed well to match the pattern of the tray and the handle is easy to grasp. The pattern is ridged on the knife, so you can feel the texture. The blade is serrated and has a curved fork tip at the end.

This set has been through the ringer here. I can attest that Pfaltzgraff really puts out quality. There is no indication on the surface that I ever used it. However, I've made this a centerpiece on more occasions than I'd like to count.

Both the tray and slicer are machine washable.

The tray has mar, scratch, and skid resistant rubber feet on the bottom.

The Winterberry design is viney, almost holly berry looking, with red berries and soft sage leaves.

Pfaltzgraff has always been one of my favorites. I know any serving piece I get will be quality, maintain its beauty, and stand the test of time.
