The Philips 170T has been a brilliant replacement to my old chunky monitor I'd had for years. Not only is it a computer monitor, but it can be used as a TV or a monitor for gaming consoles or even used as speakers. It has the AV cable plugs for TV, the reception plug for TV, audio plug for sound and microphone etc, as well as the necessary cable plugs for a computer. It is awesome, as it has a large 17" screen with picture perfect images and many awesome extras. The speakers can blast sound that goes relatively loud and is perfect quality for games, music movies and more. It has all the necessary buttons for a computer or TV, such as sound, screen properties and even AV/TV channel change so that you can use it as a multipurpose monitor at one time. For instance having the TV reception plugged in as well as games console plugs and computer plugs, all you have to do is switch AV chanels and you can use the one screen for more then 3 purposes.
