Philips Avent Isis Iq Uno Breast Pump By leosbabygurl on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This is a good pump for someone who is just trying to maintain supply, pump occasionally, or for a working mom who needs to pump. It is a nice product, easy to use, easy to clean, and very efficient. With only about four parts to clean, this is a nursing mom's dream come true. It also has a feature than no other pump does. It electronically memorizes your particluar pumping rhythm in order to extract the maximum amount. It can also be used as a manual pump with the conversion kit that it comes with. Can be used with an electrical outlet or with the enclosed battery pack for on-the-go pumping.

What I didn't like about this product was the massaging cushion inside the shield. Although this particular part is supposed to be one of the better aspects of the product, I didn't see a difference in milk output when I removed it. I noticed that the milk actually can back up underneath the massaging cushion and gets stuck between the cushion and the shield. This can lead to backup and leakage, so I just removed it altogether. I also wish that it would have come with shields of differing sizes, instead of just one.

On the whole, this is a good product, though I wouldn't venture to say it was worth $149.99.
