Philips GoGear is an audio/video player. I have the model SA3115/97. This model allows me to play WMA and MP3 only. So, I chose wma because I think it is better MP3. I first started listening to songs to test the quality. Quality is amazing to me. Now I turned on radio and now I shocked. The quality of radio is awesome. The bass is amazing. Also I can watch pictures on it. It supports JPEG format. The video playback is not that good. It only supports .smv file format which is not so good. It supports only 15 frames per second. So the video playback is the main drawback. Apart from that this player is good MP3 player.

When I went to store to buy MP3 player, I have many choices to choose from. There are some good MP3 players from Apple, Samsung, and Transcend etc. I first chose Apple but here in India the rate is too high. Apple ipod 1GB which supports audio only is around 4000 to 5000 rupees. For the same rate I am getting Philips Go Gear which is also 1GB but has all features that I need. Though it lacks behind in some areas , for users like me this player is more than enough.
