Philips Lcd Tv By superkow on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I bought this tv because I needed something small that fit into my dorm room. This tv looked pretty nice and came at a pretty low price but I guess you get what you paid for. This is a very mediocre television and I think I'd be willing to spend some more money for something better. The sound quality wasn't so great. The onboard speakers were pretty bad so I had to use an extra pair of computer speakers I had laying around and they were a vast improvement. Also, the remote I had suddenly died on me after a few months. I changed the battery but alas, still didn't work. The one good thing about this is that the picture quality is pretty good. If anyone is looking to buy a small lcd television, I would advise them to spend a little bit more money and pass this one up.

I have never been very impressed with Philips' products. Thanks for sharing the information.
