When come to fluorescent lightings at home, I always use and trusted Philips for doing the lighting job. I never trust those cheap China made brand which just costs a fraction of what Philips costs.

Philip MASTER PL-R eco is a compact fluorescent bulb which requires only half the energy to produce the same light as other fluorescent bulbs hence saving me a lot on my electricity bill every month.. And it is twice as lasting as other fluorescent bulb. The Philip bulb that I fixed up in my kitchen has been lighting up faithfully for the last 2 years. Philip fluorescent bulbs are expensive but considering the length of time they function , it is still very worth buying. Moreover it is manufactured to release less carbon dioxide thus helping me to do my part in saving the environment by reducing the green house effects too.
