These Philips SHN2500/37 Noise Canceling Earbuds really help cancel out all the noise other then the music your listening too. They use high frequency sound waves to reduce the extra noise polution from entering your ears. They have round rubber plugs really simular to earplugs that you stick in your ears. These earbuds come with different sized rubber plugs so you can fit then to the size of your ear so it blocks out as much sound as possible. These earbuds may bother some poeple because they aren't uncomfortable but some poeple may say that they bother them. When you have the earbuds completely in and your music is playing you can't hear anything around you. This is not because your music is up to loud it's only because the rubber plugs completely eliminate outer sounds. The sound quality of these earbuds are absolutly great and they come with a 4 foot long wire. These are great earbuds and i highly recommend them if you enjoy time to just be with your music.
