Philips Universal Wireless FM Transmitter

Reviewing: Philips Wireless Fm Transmitter
Purchased at: Buy.Com     Price: $10.99 USD

The piece of junk does not even worth $10.99 when I bought it although it was listed around the market at $30+. The transmitting ability is weak and inconsistent with some wave sound interrupting at times. Once a while it will lose connection and I have to tweak it all over again which is really annoying while driving on the road. I should be enjoying myself on the road while listening to my favorite playlist and not be frustated trying to make this device works. The sound quality is not great, more like a B-. It did sound great if the volume is low but at high volume, the cracking sound becomes significant. Some of the plus points worth mentioning are it does not require batteries, has a display with backlight and it is easy to setup and use. You can spend more money to get a better option in my opinion.

Wow, aren't you glad you didn't pay the $30 for it? Thanks for the warning.

This was a good honest look at these audio components. In a nutshell they're not worth it. Too many wireless components simply fail to live up to the hype.
