Philosophy Does It Again! By Ankitachan on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

During my maternity leave, I watched far too much TV and had a secret shopping channel aversion. Whilst many of the products on offer don't appeal, considering I'd given up facials during pregnancy, when the Philosophy Day came on and they had a special value pack on offer, including Hope in a Jar, the offer was too good to resist. Less than a cost of a facial, full 30-day money back guarantee if I didn't like the product or see the effects of the product.

The Microdelivery peel is a two step process. First you use the bicarbonate vitamin C crystals which helps remove dead and dry skin cells. Then you use the Microdelivery Peel Rapid Activation gel onto which foams on contact and helps infuse the skin with vitamin C. The whole takes 3 minutes and instructions are provided. As this cleansing process is a peeling action, everyday use is not recommended, I only do it once a week (sometimes twice a week) if I have worn alot of make or eaten oily or fast food that week.

It seems a little expensive for what it is but I have had this package for over 6 months now and am still getting use out of it. The Philosophy range is quality so its is all about small applications rather than quantity.

I'd only been using the Microdelivery Peel and associated products for a fortnight before people actually started commenting on how good my skin looked. It definitely wasn't the pregnancy glow, it was the skin care regime. I have now been using the products for over 18 months and my skin still looks great. I haven't needed a facial in the past 18 months as using the Philosophy range my skin is clean, pimple and blemish free and if possible looking better than ever.

Needless to say, I bought more Philosophy products rather than returning any of the items.

Currently on maternity leave, my life seems to revolve around my daughter and our household, so beware of the reviews......
