This book consists of ten books, which are compiled as one single book. I bought this a few months ago, in an attempt to try my hand in photoshop, since i've seen some of the amazing pictures and graphics that photoshop can produce. And i am glad i bought it.

Photoshop for Dummies tells you everything you need to know about photoshop CS. All the functions available are explained in detailed, with accompanying graphics here and there to make it easier for you to you to grasp them. The instructions are easy to understand and follow, which is important for a beginner like me.

There's also a Putting-It-Together section that teaches you how to make connection between the multiple Photoshop tools to produce the effects you want. This is also important, as just knowing about the functions of the tools alone is not enough, you have to know how and when to use them. All in all, this is a really handy reference that can help, whether you're a beginner like me, or someone who wants to imporve your skills.
