Photoshop User By Ntmanning on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

If you are a member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP) then you get a free year long subscription to Photoshop User Magazine. Being interested in Graphic Design and majoring in Graphic Communications Management, I decided this was a worthwhile investment. However, let me first start of with a few complaints. First, the only way to get this is by being a NAPP member, which cost $99 a year. Second, the gift guides and product recommendations always are very high. You aren't looking at anything you can pickup and buy a friend, all these things are expensive! Now that I got that out of the way, this magazine is jam packed every other month with tutorials and tips and tricks featuring some of the most famous people in the Photoshop market. I tried the subscription for the first time this year and the magazine was a major reason why. If you can manage to get it without the subscription, I recommend it. This magazine really caters to people with expensive tastes, and you only get it 6 times a year. I think they could do a lot better than this, while they do provide a good variety of content it is at premium price. This is a big investment for most college students like myself, and I would suggest not joining NAPP and getting the Photoshop User magazine.
