Physicians Formula Blemish Concealer By crunkyjens on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

While I was browsing the clearance make up section at Target I came across this interesting blemish concealer. What attracted me to it was that it's designed to look like it's in a syringe and to get the concealer out you have to click on it. Neat huh? It was clearenced out to just over $5 so I tossed it in my basket and thought I would give it a try as I needed a new concealer anyways.

Physicians Formula - Blemish Rx claims it is formulated with CliniClear technology; which is a unique blend of time-released salicylic acid and clearing botanicals. It also offers such dramatic results as up to 80% blemish reduction after one hour and up to 90% reduction after 8 hours.

You do not need very much of this concealer at all to cover up a blemish and it works quite well. I noticed that it did conceal my pimples for a longer period of time versus a regular concealer and it did also lessen the redness a bit. I didn't really see an 80% reduction, but it did seem to shorten the life of my blemishes. I noticed it also dried out my skin a little which I believe is due to the increased dosage of salicylic acid.

Overall I would recommend this blemish concealer and I will probably run up to Target and see if they have another one in stock at the cheap sale price.
