Physicians Formula Pearls of Perfection is an excellent face powder that gives your skin a warm, natural looking glow. The varying shades of the powder better match skin's natural luster, instead of leaving you with a flat, uniformly pale appearance.
Pearls of Perfection powder appears just as the name describes. It's a shallow, round canister, filled with little round pearls of powder in varying shades. You can use the included sponge or a powder puff to apply the powder. Just be careful when removing the sponge as sometimes some of the pearls will fall out.
The pearls themselves are a mix of matte and iridescent shades. The choices of overall powder shades are: translucent, light bronzer, and bronzer. The varying shades in each set make them work with a variety of skin tones.
I really like the resulting effect of this Physicians Formula powder. It gives a perfect finish to your makeup, brightens skin, and helps to blend in any lines from your concealer to foundation.
The Pearls of Perfection powder is oil-free and fragrance-free. It's perfect for those with oil-prone skin. My only warning is that the powder can tend to dry skin if you use it daily. If you have drier skin, make sure to use a moisturizing foundation underneath this powder.
