Let me tell you about this little gem that my husband bought for me after my first back surgery. It is this little grabber device, it has a squeeze handle that pulls two clamps together allowing you to grab or pick up things without having to bend or reach. I was not suppose to bend or reach anything for weeks then I had a ten pound weight limit but still could not bend or reach. This worked out well because it will not hold anything heavier than ten pounds, but it did allow me to get my newspaper, pull laundry from the dryer and so on. It really was one of the best gifts I could of gotten and to this day I still use it. My kids like to play with it if they can get away with it which is not too often. I have since seen these at Tractor Supply, Walgreen's and even at Wal-Mart. I am thinking of buying one for my 72 year old Mother. It is light weight and easy to use and I am really happy with this.

I bought one of these for a friend when she had back surgery. She was so happy to have it.
thats a good product especially for people who want to use it for preventative purposes so they can have a good lower back at a much older age.
