PICNIC OR SUMMER PARTY IN THE RAIN?
By Geralyn Hydock onWe purchased another brand of gazebo two years ago. Unfortunately, we left it up during the winter and a severe snowstorm caused the top supports to bend and cave in. I was really upset but when this past summer came around, our PostExchange had this gazebo for sale and I jumped on it. It is was an absolute steal as the kit also came with four side curtains which can be used if you desire privacy. They came in handy because we live in government quarters which are side by side and you have no privacy whatever. Our gazebo was used quite often for outdoor dinners, lounging, and for teen parties. This winter, we remembered to take down the top cover therefore, it is still standing tall.
The gazebo has four sturdy steel frames that are in the Mission style. It is constructed out of water resistent polyester and is colored a neutral beige which does not stand out like a sore thumb. The fabric not only resists water but it prevents UV deterioration and mildew. The top is vented in order to allow wind gusts to easily escape.
Construction of the product was a little complicated. It took both my husband and youngest son to put together. The end result was well worth all the time spent. The gazebo is a 8.2 feet square and is 8.2 feet tall at the center point. All necessary hardware was provided in the set. In order to provide stability, my husband screwed the gazebo to a wooden base which he constructed. We have had no problems with this product at all. It is definitely a quality product. This gazebo has provided my family with a beautiful, functional place where they can enjoy the outdoors.

This sounds like an affordable option to give you some outside space and yet some privacy. Thanks!
I love gazebos and want one for my yard. Thanks for the info. This sounds like something I would love and I love the price.
Sounds great. Thanks for sharing this information. I will certainly be looking into this Gazebo.
This sounds beautiful on a hot summer day!! It's great that it prevents UV deterioration as well!
Sounds like a nice place to retreat to. Great that the curtains are UV and mildew protected. I always wonder about stuff like that when you see outdoor curtains and such advertised.
I love gazebo's, they are so fun! I think it's very neat that yours came with curtains, great for a little bit of privacy when you need it. :o)
We LOVE ours! We even eat dinner in ours some nights, every family should have one :D
I would really like one of these to put on our back deck. It is so exposed to the sun we can't enjoy it in the summertime. Thanks for sharing your experience with this gazebo!
Glad this one made it through the winter! Sounds very nice.
This sounds great for all the different needs you use it for. Glad it's working for you and that you remembered to take the top off this winter!
