Picture Perfect Frames! By cafn8me on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Anyone who loves displaying framed photos in their home will love these beautiful wood picture frames by Burnes of Boston. There is a frame available for nearly any size and configuration of photos, including several different collage options to choose from. The frames are solidly constructed of wood....no resin wood-wanna-be's here! There are also several colors to choose from, including white, walnut, and black, as well as styles ranging from simple and classic to more detailed, ornate frames. These frames are widely available in stores including Sears, Bed, Bath & Beyond, and Macy's, but I have found the best prices to be at Kohl's.

So, by now you get the idea. I love the quality and options available from Burnes of Boston. They look great on my walls. But one of the greatest things about these frames is how easy they are to hang. You see, these frames come with a cool, patented mounting bracket that makes hanging them simple and quick. The ledge-style bracket contains a tiny level which ensures that the frame will be hung securely and levelly with no fussing! You decide where you want the frame, place the bracket accordingly, and secure it with the first nail. Adjust the bracket so that the level is straight, and nail the second nail. Then place the frame on the bracket and you're done! No need for standing back to determine whether the frame is hung straight!

This line of frames and decorative ledges is perfect for older homes, where you can't really rely on the ceiling lines being completely straight, or for those who don't always want to wait for another person to act as their second set of hands.

I have several framed photos on the stairwell to my second floor, and although my kids have bumped them more than a few times, we've never had the frames knocked off kilter. In fact, they don't move at all!

These frames are a bit pricier than some, but they're a quality line of products that is worth every penny!

These frames sound really easy to hang. I always have problems trying to level a picture frame. I love Kohl's...they have some really nice frames to choose from too. I need to get some pictures up on the wall, want to help me?

I have several Burnes frames in different sizes and colors. Thanks for the Kohl's tip. I have not looked there for them!

WOW! This is a no-brainer for me. I have estigmatism and never have been able to tell if things are straight. (Strange for someone who used to hang wall paper, with a plumb line, and set ceramic tiles for a living.) Thanks for the great revue.
