Previous to viewing "Pineapple Express", I looked to my friends for their opinion on the film. Nothing short of "stellar" was the collective rating.Excited now, I turn off the lights, insert the DVD, make some popcorn and await the humor and entertainment that was guaranteed. It starts off with a subpoena-serving Seth Rogan and weed. (* NOTE: The entirety of "Pineapple Express" contains involvement in drugs, sexual innuendos, and mild violence with a comedic twist. This is most likely not a movie to watch with your kids, your parents, business associates, police officers, small children, or the "straight edge". )It is an adventure, shared between Seth Rogan and James Franco after they accidentally become aware of an illegal marijuana growing operation, and of the numerous crimes committed by its founders. They are running for their lives, whilst enjoying the newly-bred, one of a kind ganja referred to as "Pineapple Express". Though the plot is serious in nature, Seth Rogan and James Franco create an amazing comedic duo, along with several other comedic geniuses. Prepare to laugh.
