I decided to buy a new piece of video editing software because Windows Movie Maker seemed to limited to me. I wasn't really sure which one to buy untill someone reccomended Pinnacle studio 11 standard. When i got to circuit city to pick it up I decided to go with the Ultimate edition even though it was quite a bit more. I'm glad I did.

the ultimate edition of Pinnacle studio 11 compared to Windows Movie makr is amazing. It has hundreds of video transitions in the software to use and even more you can download. The software is simple enough to use at first, although it's going to take some practice to get into the more complicatted stuff. he manual it comes with will cover pretty much everything and if you have questions, Pinnacle has an excellent customer support line and web chat that is avalable at thier website.

There are service packs and patchs out to fix some basic problems with it (for XP and Vista) and although you may have a problem installing it, downloadiing the patch will fix it. i totally recommend this software for anyone who needs some video editing sotware and want something more advanced than Windows movie maker.
