Pirate's Cove

Pirate's Cove is a children's board game by Rose Art. It is for ages four and up, and can be played with two to four players. My children were given this as a present and they were very excited about it because they love anything that has to do with pirates. But once we opened it and tried to play it the game was very disappointing. I still to this day could not tell you just how to play it because I, as an adult, do not understand the directions! It is way too confusing and there are way too many steps for children to follow. I'm really not sure how a four year old would ever understand how to play this game. The board itself is very neat looking and so are the game pieces, although they are all made out of cardboard. So my kids basically get this game out only once in awhile and play with the board and game pieces (pirates, coins, and keys), but don't actually play the game itself.
