Pirates of the Caribbean, The curse of the Black Pearl is the first of the now trilogy of pirate action films based on the famous theme park ride @ Disney world.

We are introduced to Captain Jack Sparrow brilliantly portrayed by Johnny Depp. Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightley and Geoffrey Rush join Depp on this ride into adventure. The sights and sounds of this film are breath taking, although to get the full effect it is much better in the movie theater.

Captain Jack is in full pursuit of his arch enemy Barbosa (Rush) who has stolen Jack's ship the Black pearl. Sparrow is joined in this quest by Will Turner (Bloom) and the governor's daughter Elizabeth (Knightley). You'll need to watch the film to see how it all turns out ( I won't spoil it for you).

We are a disney family and love the pirates. When at Disney we ride the ride 10 times in a week. We even met Jack Sparrow when last visited in September.

Needless to say I loved it and have seen it's sequels the first week of their respective releases.
