Cars on DVD is an animated movie from Disney's Pixar Studios about a racecar named Lightning McQueen, and up-and-coming car on a racing circut similar to NASCAR. On his way across the country, he gets lost and ends up in a tiny little town off of the famous Route 66 and meets many different types of cars that make him realize how privelaged a life he leads and how lucky he is, but also how empty his life is. He realizes that he has no true friends, just fans, and he makes many new friends. Lending their voices are many stars, inlcuding Owen Wilson as McQueen, Paul Newman plays the judge in the town, and Tony Schaloub, George Carlin, and many others voice the cars in the sleepy little town. This is one of my favorite of the Pixar movies, and the DVD is full of special features including 2 short features and deleted scenes.
