Plain Truth By Rae777 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

One of my favorite pastimes is reading especially during the summer months when I have some time off. One author that I have been reading lately is Jodi Picoult. Jodi Picoult is a writer that I've only discovered recently in the last couple years. She writes mysteries and dramas.I recently found one of books that she wrote a couple years ago called Plain Truth. Plain Truth is the story of a young Amish girl who gives birth to a baby out of wedlock only to find out when she wakes up that the baby is dead. This book tells the story of a lawyer who sets out to find the truth of what happened to the baby. Is the young Amish girl guilty or could there be some other explanation?

I really liked this book. It kept my interest and turned out to be a pretty good page turner despite the fact that it is a lengthy book. The author seem to do quite a bit of research on the Amish faith.

Jodi Picoult has written 17 books including My Sister's Keeper which was recently turned into a movie.
