This Ice Cream set by play wonder is the nicest wooden play food I have seen yet. I have several different varities for my son's play kitchen by several different companies and LOVE this one best. Play wonder is a very durable and made of quality hardwood. Play wonder is made by Battat which is a wonder well known maker of toys. There is not much that can happen to this food in way of destroying it. It has been dropped on hard floors, bitten by kids and thrown a bin and still looks very nice and new.

I was concerned that the paint might peel off or chip at some point but we have not had that happen yet and looks like it will not be a concern at all.

This is fun for kids of all ages, since they can pretend. All scoops and bananas including cherries come off and velcro back together or on to each other. They don't have to be played with altogether, but can be served as single scoops if lots of kids are playing! The spoon even has velcro on it to pretend to be scooping the ice cream out.

I would highly recommend as play food for kitchens for without. This is the ultimate and worth every penny spent on it.
