Playstation 2

Sony's second game consol of the playstation series, Playstation 2, was released in 2000 first in Japan then all over the world. I bought the playstation 2 over the nintendo 64 because the graphics were so much better. I also preffered the playstation 2 because it used disc's instead of cartriages like the Nintendo 64, which is a lot easier to store and keep clean. Because the playstation 2 used disc's, i could play dvd's on the console which was also an advantage. The playstation 2 has a remote which i use when i watch the dvd's, making it a lot easier to play, stop, rewind or fast forward. the only problem with the Playstation 2 compared to consoles sold today, such as the XBOX, XBOX 360 and Playstation 3 is that the Playstation 2 uses a memory card to save games. The other consoles use a hard drive which is cheaper to maintain and a lot easier to use.
