Playstation 3

I have always been a gamer. Tried all the new game consoles and portable gaming units. So as an anticipating gamer, I waited for the release of teh PS3. I thought it was a little too expensive at first. But after getting the console and some games I realized that it wasn't just a "toy". It was much more. It is a complete multifunction console. Other than just gaming, I have achieved too surf the net, save MP3's, hook up my ipod tp listen and recharge. Watched DVD, HD-DVD and blu-ray movies.

Excellent options were included, the upload time and the graphic detail of the games are incredible. the extensive selection of games from classics to more advanced games makes it more desirable. I have been convinced that the PS3 is the ultimate gaming machine.

The online features are extremely similar to that of the PSP. surfing is easy and you can have as many as 3 windows open at one time. I have used this option to read email, check accounts, web searches and even myspace editing and commenting. Its great for those who love to be online or surf the net without the comlicated maintenance of a PC.

Update On Mar 24, 2008: Well, Its been a year now since I have had my playstation 3 console and I have yet to have any problems with it. It still continues to provide the same great gaming output as the day i got it. I really hate to bad talk other consoles but frankly I need to say that, in the deperate time to find a Wii for my children i opted to get an XBOX 360 for them instead. I thought hey why not give a shot? I have heard horror stories of console burning out or the feared red rings of death which put your console out of comission.

I have tried it and I don't like it at all.I will stand by my Playstation 3.
