Playstation 3 40gb

The Playstation 3 is the next gen console for the Sony franchise. With a blu-ray DVD player built in, a powerful "Cell Processor", games that can be played in High-definition, bluetooth capabilities, wireless controllers that have Sixaxis ability (similiar to the motion sensoring of the Wii controllers, but doesn't seem as gimmicky), and many other features make this the most powerful console out right now.

Many people say that the Playstation 3 is not selling as well as the XBox 360, but since it just finished its first year in the market, the Playstation 3 actually outsold the Xbox in their first year. With many Playstation 3 exclusive games coming out in the next year or two (Killzone 2, Resistance 2, Metal Gear Solid 4, God of War 3, just to name a few) and a few great exclusive games already out (Ratchet and Clank 3, Uncharted) it seems like it could be Playstation's year to break out.

With the games, the power of the system, and a reliable brand name, the Playstation 3 is my favorite console by far.
