The Playstation 3 80gb gaming console is very easy to use. It has a wide variety of games in many genres with more being released every week. It plays most PS One games however with the newer models Sony has removed the backwards comatability for Playstation 2 games. This is a shame if you don't want to have multiple consoles but still want to play your PS2 games. It also plays BluRay DVD's. The video quality is excellent although you have to have an HD TV to get the full effect of this feature. It also feature HD upscaling which makes a standard DVD picture appear closer to HD. The DVD feature can be controlled by the game controller (which is wireless) saving you from having to buy the DVD remote that is sold seperately. The 80gb hard drive has pelnty of room for saved games, demos or some music or pictures. It has bluetooth and wifi features. Sign up for a Playstation Network account and you can download games, movies, demos, game addons and more.

Overall this is a great game console although the included accesories are limited and the ones available for purchase can be expensive. For anyone considering going HD and also likes gaming I would recommend this game console as it gives you the best of both worlds at around the price of a stand alone Blu Ray disc player.
