Pleasing And Functional Entertainment Centre By bubblywriter on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I love my Sauder entertainment centre with the rich, oak finish and striking gold knobs with faux marble centres. The cornice edging around the top gives it an antiquated appearance.

It accommodates a 27" television set with an upper shelf which is removable and adjustable for a DVD player. Two spacious cupboards are housed behind four oak, framed doors which have plenty of room to store videos, discs, cassettes even books. On the left side adjacent to the television is a glass, wood framed cabinet with three shelves. They can hold stereo equipment or in my case knick knacks and family photos.

A word of warning, some assembly required means if you're not a body builder, have impressive muscles or are a lady on your own a strong man or two people are required. This 134 lb. unit must be completely assembled. As you can imagine there a some fairly heavy, large pieces. The store where I purchased my entertainment centre, Sears, sent me a member of their staff to connect all the dots, that is, the wooden slabs.

This stylish entertainment centre is an attractive addition to my living room. Despite the need for Arnold Schwarzenegger to put it together I would recommend Sauder's Forest Hill Collection if you would like serviceable, appealing furniture for your home.
