Pledge Multi Surface Dusters make cleaning quick

I hate to clean! We moved into our house 2 years ago. While it was nice that it came with 1 inch white wood blinds and white plantation shutters, I thought OMG how am I going to keep them clean. I discovered in earlier houses that if you use too much cleaner on blinds, more dust actually sticks to the residue that is left behind and over time they build up a horrible hard to remove grime. When we moved here I decided I would try something new and got a swiffer duster. While it did an OK job and the dust did get knocked of, I felt much of it was still floating around rather that being picked up. Then I tried the Pledge duster. Not only does it pick up more dust than the swiffer when dry, you can actually spray it lightly with the multi surface spray that is attatched to the handle for even better cleaning. I find that giving it a light spray make the duster head damp so that it holds the duster better rather than just pushing it off but does not leave a reidue behind that makes more dust stick. It has been 2 years and my blinds look beautiful and clean with no build up of grime. The spary that Pledge has made is also good for all surfaces so I can clean the whole house with out lugging around multiple botlles of cleaners and different rags for each cleaner.

Update On Mar 11, 2010: I was feeling cheap so I purchase some generic duster refills at the dollar store. They were a little snug but do fit on the Pledge Duster sticks. They are not nearly as fluffy and full as the Plege refills but work ok if you are going to use them for one use only so I save them for the dirtiest places that I do not clean everyweek like the blinds in the garage and the baseboards.
