Point Blank Body Armor - Level II

So had to purchase this for work, and did some research and settled on Point Blank. Most law enforcement agencies use this brand, so i gave it a shot.

First problem was finding out my size! It took some time but finally figured it out. I then looked online, and in catalogs i'd gotten (Galls, Quartermaster, etc.) and settled on Galls.

I learned a lot while shopping in that a vest lasts about 5 years after the year make. I also discovered that it is VERY uncomfortable to wear in the first week or two. You do get used to it after a while, but it still gets amazingly hot... but this is better than not wearing one, and possibly getting shot without it!

I can't say if it works or not, and i hope i never find out! You want to pick up a extra vest cover, and will want a extra ballistic plate. I bought a soft plate with this vest which will deflect blows better.
