Polar Home Water Cooler Heater By Aktiv8_F8 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Numerous studies are currently showing that ground water is now, in most areas, unsafe to drink from the tap. Polar Water Cooler/Heater is the next best thing to water from the tap. Individual water bottles can be a hassle and hazardous to the earth, hence, it is best to purchase a water cooler that can be used in place of the kitchen tap water system.

Two years ago my husband and I purchase a house with terrible tasting water. We later found out that the cities' water system was polluted with chemicals and unsafe to drink according to the states' water testing results. We immediately purchased a water softener and filtration system for the whole house. Unfortunately, we were dissatisfied with the salty taste of the drinking water from the kitchen tap. We found out about the Polar Water systems for the house from a representative at Lowe's.

Since we love cold water in the summer months and hot tea in the winter, we loved the idea of the hot and cold water system. This was the only one available in the stores at the time of purchase with both options. We just purchase a five or ten gallon refillable water jug from a local water filtration store and flop it on top of the Polar system. It takes very little effort to get it on the system. In addition, since there is a plastic rod inside the system, we never need to remove the jug cap, so we never spill any water.

In the back of the system, there are two switches for the hot and cold options to be turned on. In addition, there is a main power switch. So, in the summer we turn off the hot switch since we do not need it. It is just so simple and takes very little energy.

We save hundreds of dollars with this new system, since we no longer purchase individual plastic water bottles. It is not only time efficient, cost efficient but also energy efficient. It is the perfect choice for people looking for clean drinking water.
