Polish Pottery On My Christmas Tree By Alice on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

My daughter just comes up with the greatest little Christmas gifts that she knows I will love, don't cost a fortune, and that I will treasure as there's usually a story behind them.

If you've read my reviews you know I collect Polish Pottery as my dinner and cookware. Recently I was sick with the flu and about the only thing I could keep down was some tea and toast.

On Christmas morning she gave me the cutest little ornament, a Polish Pottery teapot to hang on our tree. I can't make tea in it but it will remind me of the year I had the flu right before Christmas!

This cute little ornament is made of porcelain and painted exactly like my larger dinnerware pieces. It is 2 inches high and 3-1/2 inches wide from the handle to the end of the spout. The lid has been glued in place and has an ornament hanger with a blue ribbon tied to it.

The painting is all done by hand with a blue border on top, a green Christmas leaf design and the bottom half has red berry dots and gold stars. The handle even has gold stars painted on it. The lid has not been left out with the blue design and red berry dots around the top.

If you know someone that collects Polish Pottery and you need a small present this would be perfect. My daughter told me there are more designs out there so you can guess what I'll be looking for!
